Mennonite Heritage Center – A Crisis of Allegiance: American Mennonites during the Revolutionary War

Learn about their stories at “A Crisis of Allegiance: American Mennonites during the Revolutionary War” at the Mennonite Heritage Center on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. This program will present the range of national Mennonite responses through a local lens. Joel Horst Nofziger will contextualize the historical conflict and Pastor Rob Presthus will respond with some implications for today.

Trauma Awareness Training – Peter Becker Community
(posted March 12) Join us for a free three-hour trauma awareness training for clergy and lay ministers at Peter Becker Community in Harleysville, PA, on May 12. Registration and breakfast begin at 8:00 AM, followed by the Spirit Care Seminar at 8:30 AM, led by The Rev. Dr. Aemina Razzano. Objectives: recognize common traumas, understand the neurobiology of trauma, practice trauma-informed presence, apply trauma-informed principles, and identify practices that protect both those served and the caregiver.
