Four Conference Assembly scattered meetings will be held this October with two primary objectives:
- Delegate training – Helping delegates understand the important commitment and specific duties they are responsible for when they agree to serve in this role. It is an important assignment that helps to influence and shape the work of Franconia Conference and should be accepted with a real sense of God’s call to the work. Conference Assembly Scattered will be a time to prepare delegates for the work to which they have committed themselves and to help them embrace this role more fully.
- Bylaws – Some significant changes are proposed to Franconia Conference bylaws, and Conference Assembly scattered meetings will be an opportunity to review the proposed changes and feed into the process before the final draft that will be proposed for action at Conference Assembly gathered in November.

The opinions expressed in articles posted on Mosaic’s website are those of the author and may not reflect the official policy of Mosaic Conference. Mosaic is a large conference, crossing ethnicities, geographies, generations, theologies, and politics. Each person can only speak for themselves; no one can represent “the conference.” May God give us the grace to hear what the Spirit is speaking to us through people with whom we disagree and the humility and courage to love one another even when those disagreements can’t be bridged.
