- Read The Wolf shall Dwell with the Lamb by Eric Law and write a 500-800 word response engaging the material/concepts from Law and how they would work in practice in your own ministry context. Please email that document to Steve Kriss (skriss@mosaicmennonites.org) by June 4.
- Look over the Polity book (no need to respond to it–but skim it, have any questions prepared for class)
- Look over Mosaic Conference By-laws (see below) and have any questions prepared.
- At the Fall 2015 Franconia Mennonite Conference Assembly, the vision of the conference was set through the passing of five Church Together Statements from congregations. Three of these statements called for either a taskforce or commission to carry out the work outlined in the statement. Therefore, the Israel/Palestine and Addressing Abuse Taskforces, along with the Faith and Life Commission were formed. There are 3 Church-Together Statements that Franconia Conference had in place prior to the creation of Mosaic and these documents are below for you to look over prior to our final class. Please look over the following documents: Grace and Truth Statement, Going to the Margins Statement, Faith and Life Statement (link to the article describing that 2015 Assembly)
