Damascus Road Anti-Racism Analysis Training
One of the core values that Franconia Mennonite Conference and the Mennonite Church USA has committed to, is becoming a multi-cultural church. One tool available to congregations on this quest is the Damascus Road Anti-Racism Analysis Training. It offers an in-depth analysis of how power and identity shape us as a people and as a church. It opens a whole new way of understanding the Kingdom of God in the Anabaptist perspective.
The 11th Annual Damascus Road Anti-Racism Analysis Training is Friday – Sunday, February 25 – 27, at Philadelphia Mennonite High School. Will you come, with leaders of your congregation and our conference, to lay a new foundation and understanding for the transformation that God has for us? More information and registration details can be found at www.FranconiaConference.org (under the Resources tab).
The opinions expressed in articles posted on Mosaic’s website are those of the author and may not reflect the official policy of Mosaic Conference. Mosaic is a large conference, crossing ethnicities, geographies, generations, theologies, and politics. Each person can only speak for themselves; no one can represent “the conference.” May God give us the grace to hear what the Spirit is speaking to us through people with whom we disagree and the humility and courage to love one another even when those disagreements can’t be bridged.
